I have been working in the hotel industry since 1996. I trained at the Grand Hotel Esplanade Berlin, worked in London and studied in Switzerland.
Between 2002 and 2008, I was responsible in the area of e-commerce for direct online business at Hilton, Accor Hotels Germany and others.
Before managing the hotel division at the Unister Group for 2 years I was Head of Sales at Trip Advisor.
In 2012 I founded myhotelshop GmbH as managing partner.
My goal is to change the hospitality industry into a more online savvy industry, through innovative measures. To work cost efficient and exploit unused potentials is a common goal for all e-commerce and sales people in this industry. Hotels should not ignore driving direct sales and business. I am firm believer that sales is part of the hotels core business and should stay within the hotel.
